Jennifer Gray-Stanley, Ph.D.

Jennifer Gray-Stanley earned a master’s in public policy, with a certificate in health administration and policy from the University of Chicago, and a doctorate in public health, with a concentration in gerontology from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She formerly managed the NCPAD newsletter and now is project manager of UDHP, an examination of built environment measurement tools with respect to health promotion accessibility and community livability for people with disabilities. She teaches as an Assistant Professor at Northern Illinois University, in the School of Nursing and Health Studies, Public Health and Health Education. Her research interests include the health promoting behaviors of the long-term care workforce, family caregivers, older adults, and persons with disabilities.
